The Illawarra Woodworkers Group is a non profit volunteer group located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales. This website is for anybody who is interested in woodworking for enjoyment as much as it is for the members and it contains a collection of past newsletters, an events calendar and general information on our craft.
Use the menu to the left to navigate around the site. The location of the workshop and directions to find us are shown on the Location page, we have details of the exhibitions and club events in the Events Calendar and a wide selection of useful Web Links for woodworkers.
A growing selection of our members work is showcased in the Members Gallery as well as having some woodwork Items for sale. We also make toys that are donated to local charities.

Latest news and Events
If you are going to Sydney later this month there is an exhibition of items crafted from a Kauri tree that had died and was removed from the Botanic Gardens. The exhibition is on at the Lion gate centre of the Botanic gardens from 21 to 29 August. Also mark your diaries for our next exhibition and sales events which will be Bulli Show in September and the Annual Illawarra Fine Woodcraft exhibition in the old court house on the October long weekend.
At both events we expect to have a fund raiser BBQ in addition to our usual turning demonstrations and wood craft exhibits.
